Nostalgia overload
You know you loved Tale Spin, and probably still do. I really wish I could have been in the production meeting where the executives decided to approve a cartoon show about sky pirates featuring a talking bear from a 19th century Rudyard Kipling novel. That is just mind-blowing.
The purpose of today's entry is not about talking animals or literature though. Sorry. It's about nostalgia in general and this super-amazing site my friend Chris exposed me to: www.onceuponawin.com
It's got pages and pages of toys, cartoons, movies, songs, gadgets, magazines, and other stuff from your childhood. You can go through and rate everything with a thumbs up or thumbs down, or leave a comment detailing your personal fondness for Jell-O Pops, drive-in movie theaters, Legends of the Hidden Temple, pet rocks, or whatever catches your eye. I spent well over an hour watching the little related youtube clips. I highly recommend the Rubik's Cube page for that.
Well, have a fantastic journey back to your childhood and for now I will bid you adieu.
