Poll time and free signing event!
Last week's poll results are in and it looks like the majority of the Young & Free viewers don't work out at all:

I have to say that I used to be that way myself, but when I think ahead to my future, I know that I want to still be able to do the things I can do now when I'm 40 or 50 or 60 years old. The only way to do that is stay fit for as long as possible. Who wants to be a soap opera-watching old lady or a sportscenter and local news addict for the rest of their lives? Not I! Anyway, onto our new poll question: What do you do with free stuff you don't want?
When I say free stuff, I mean stuff that won't just disintegrate like food or beverages. Stuff that has staying power. Like a towel, or a lawn chair, or a busted television, or something like that. What do you do with all that stuff you manage to acquire through your daily routines? Just answer the poll by next Thursday and we'll archive the results and have a new one for you!
Also, here's a reminder about tomorrow's Free Funds and Free Food event at South Carolina Federal Credit Union's Oakbrook branch. Basically the first 20 folks aged 18-25 with valid ID who can successfully open a MY Savings account will receive their minimum deposit of $10 for free AND get a free $7 Chick-Fil-A gift card so that they can go to lunch afterwards. You can get directions and all the details in Tuesday's post, found here. Or, you can just check out the Facebook event for it. Bring a friend, get some savings accounts, then have lunch on us! I really look forward to meeting some of you Young & Free folks tomorrow. =)
