Thursday at the Joe and a free event coming soon!
Thursday, July 16th should be a busy day for me! I'll be starting off at the College of Charleston orientation handing stuff out from noon to 2 p.m. and trying to find out what young people (and to some extent, their parents) want from their financial institution. Stop by and see me at the South Carolina Federal Credit Union table if you're out and about! Sign up for an account while you're there and receive a free hat or t-shirt!

Later in the evening though, from about 6 to 9:30 p.m., a few coworkers and I will be out at Joe Riley Stadium for the Riverdogs' Thirsty Thursday minor league baseball game. They'll be playing the Hickory Crawdads, and beers and hot dogs will be only $1! Come on out and sign up for an account if you feel inclined! People who sign up for an account out at the game will receive a free hat or t-shirt! We're also running a promotion for the game on August 27th where you could get one of your bills (anything up to $500) paid for free! Several seat numbers will be called and you could be a lucky winner!

On Friday, July 24th, from 11:30 to 2:30, down at the Oakbrook branch (9999 Dorchester Rd., Summerville SC 29485), anyone aged 18-25 can come in to open a new MY Savings account FOR FREE (we're going to give you $10 as an opening balance) and as an added benefit, they will also receive a FREE Chick-Fil-A gift card good for one meal. So if you're feeling hungry, and need to save some money, this is a double-whammy of savings! The money you saved from buying a meal at Chick-Fil-A and opening an account can go straight into your brand new, shiny MY Savings account! This offer is good for only the first 20 folks who come in and successfully open new accounts. If you've already got an account, tell a friend about this deal and maybe they'll let you have a fry or a chicken nugget. =)
Can't wait to see all of you out at our events! If you see me at any of these, don't hesitate to say hi and let me know you've been checking out the site!
