We have been inspired by the quality of our 20 applicants for the Young & Free SC Spokeperson position. You all have shown what you are made of. You have rallied an army of followers and have attracted more than 350 blog comments and drawn hundreds of supporters to your Facebook groups. You've produced extra videos and taken your campaign to the streets. You've hosting live shows, collaborated on the radio and have even been tattooed! The frenzy of activity and creativity is staggering. Well done to all of you.
To keep this momentum going, we are officially extending the application deadline to March 13!
We have extra time built into the calendar before the public voting starts on March 23, so we have decided to extend the application deadline in order to give every potential applicant a chance to apply.
What does this mean for our applicants who made the original deadline? If you have additional extras that you would like us to post, please continue to forward them. This is not required or expected, so please do not take away from your studies or your other commitments. You have already made a lasting impression.
For those of you who have been thinking about applying, you now have no excuse. Get in the game!
