One in eight people around the globe lack access to clean drinking water. The crisis is so profound that it kills over 5,500 people each day – more than war, natural disasters, AIDS or even hunger.

Young & Free South Carolina has partnered with South Carolina based organization, Water Missions International, and local artists to help solve this troubling dilemma. To keep the art affordable, we’ll have many pieces priced under $75 dollars! Come out and enjoy an evening of art, music and changing lives.

Artists FAQ

Who will attend this show?
Our target demographic is the 25 and under crowd – mostly college students. That’s why we are selling pieces at an affordable price.

How can I display my artwork at the Change For Change Art Show?
We’re asking artists to donate one piece of art. All donated pieces will be sold for $75 or less – all proceeds go straight to Water Missions Intl.  (We ask that you set a designated price for your piece).

Can I donate more than 1 piece of artwork?
Yes. And in return for each donated piece(s) of art, we’ll give you an approx 3’(w)x6’(h) section of wall to display your other artwork.

When should I donate my artwork?
We’ll be accepting artwork up until Friday, April 29th at any of our branches. After then, you can bring your artwork to the Music Farm on Thursday, May 5th, between 1-5 pm.

Can I donate a piece to be sold for more than $75?
Yes. Although we want to make affordable artwork available, we also realize that some art work is worth WAY more than $75. If you desire to donate a piece to be sold, that’s worth more than $75, please let us know.

Can I sell additional pieces of artwork?
Yes. Additional artwork can be sold, at any price point. 10% of additional sales will go towards Water Missions Intl.

Do I have to submit a piece of artwork to be in the show?
Yes. This is a fundraiser show.

Is there a specific style or genre of art that you are looking for?
We’d love artists from all ends of the spectrum to be involved. So, whether you’re a sculptor, painter, photographer, etc, we’d love for you to get involved.
